Spring forward

This weekend was FINALLY warm. Pennsylvania is so weird. I said to Neal that I can’t believe it can snow on Monday and be in the 70s by the weekend.

Anyway, the best part about nice weather is that we can turn off the heat and open up the front and back doors so the cats can look out the storm doors. They love it.

This was before vacuuming, so please ignore the layer of dust/dirt that is on Ferris’s fur. Poor guy. Oh, and I also know that the glass on the storm door is filthy. Which I didn’t even notice until I posted these pictures. Sorry. I’ll run and get my Windex as soon as I publish this post, HAHA.

So anyway, of course as soon as Ferris sees the camera, he starts hamming it up and rolling around.

Saturday, I did a whole lot of nothing. Neal and I watched the movie “Pineapple Express,” which was really funny. So Sunday, although we lost an hour because of DST, (grrrr…) I woke up knowing I had to get my butt in gear. The house was filthy and Neal kindly pointed out a layer of cat hair on the steps.

So far, I cleaned the kitchen, did laundry, cleaned up the bedroom and vacummed. Also, right now, I have some sauce simmering on the stove for some baked ziti. Whew! Three cheers for productivity!
