So, I’ve said this before – I’m short. Very short. I’m small. I’ve been called a little person, carnie midget, you name it. The point of the following story is not to boast about what size clothing I wear, it’s to illustrate the frustration of having a 25″ inseam.

And for all you tall/large/big-boned people, I don’t want to hear it. Just listen to my story, OK?

So, I need some new jeans that I can wear with flats. Finding a pair of jeans right off the rack that doesn’t have to be hemmed is pretty hard, but I try anyway.

I saw that Old Navy carries petite sizes online, so I went to the store last week to try some on. I didn’t notice any petites on the wall of jeans, so I walked up to a store employee. Now, this employee was a tall, slim girl. She was very pretty and everything, and basically she was NORMAL, but not petite.

“Do you carry petite sizes?” I asked.

The girl just kind of looked at me for a minute, then said “By petite sizes… do you mean, like, size 0? We carry size zeros!” And she started to walk toward the jeans.

I’m not sure why I even bothered to say anything. “No, I mean petite sizes. Like they are cut differently, smaller.”

I got the same blank stare from the employee, and then she said “I’ve never seen anything in this store with the word petite on it.”

**Sigh**

So I guess I’ll have to just order them online, as they are probably an online-only item. And they’ll probably still be too long. Seriously, though, do you have to live under a rock not to know what petite sizes are?

To totally change the subject, I have some pictures that Neal took of Ferris. Ferris has issues when he eats. He always get “food bits” all over his face and chin. And completely abandoning all normal feline instincts, he doesn’t clean himself well.

So Neal got some shots of Ferris with food bits on his nose, HAHA.

HAHA! It’s so gross and so…. male. I love it.

So, I ran to the grocery store to get supplies so I can bake my butt off this weekend for family treat bags for the holidays. I’m doing better with my Christmas shopping, but my “to wrap” pile just keeps getting bigger, HAHA. So glad it’s the weekend soon!
