end of the weekend

So, before I finish up my holiday weekend post, let me first explain the reason for my sparse posting — xbox and the game Neal bought me, Fable 2. It’s this game where you run around this ancient world and perform different quests and you can either be a good guy or a bad guy. I’m obsessed, and it’s beyond ridiculous. I need help.
OK, so I tore myself away to finish up my pictures from this past weekend. Saturday, we ate lunch at my parents’ house to visit with the grandparents.
Cats love Neal, and Shiraz was so in heaven on the couch with Neal petting her that she fell off.

HAHA! And we took a lot of pictures. I’ve been realizing I don’t have a lot of pictures of grandparents, and need to rectify that.

OK, so then we went over to Tad and Amanda’s to hang out the rest of the afternoon. Amanda had a great idea to put their leftover turkey in a crockpot with gravy, then make mashed potatoes and waffles. YUM!! Oh boy, I ate way too much of this.

And then I got to have some of the peanut butter pie that Amanda made on Christmas. I wasn’t in town to enjoy it then, and I completely savored it Saturday night. It must have been 364,846 calories, but boy, they were all worth it! Seriously. A-mazing, melt-in-your-mouth pie. Amanda, I need this recipe!

And then we took some pictures of the niece dogs.

I like the next two pictures that Neal took, because in one, Meadow’s eyes are in focus, and in the other, her nose is in focus. Not sure if Neal tried that, but I think it looks cool.

Neal won my brother’s fantasy football pool, so here’s Tad counting out his winnings.

Sunday, I have no pictures. Because I played Fable 2 all day. Because I’m a loser.

Only a three-day work week before New Year’s and another four-day weekend! Whooo Hooo!
