So, I know I told you last post was the last of the year, but I really felt I needed to say this in 2008.

I want to thank all of you for reading my blog and giving me feedback, whether it’s commenting on my posts, emailing me or telling me in person (even you, Tad). I originally started this blog for myself. I stopped writing for a living and switched careers, and while I don’t regret the change, I do miss writing.

So I started this blog to keep me sane, share stories about Neal and I and our cats and share the result of my favorite hobby – cooking. But then people started reading it, and now I find it’s great to keep people update on what’s going on with us. I write about incredibly mundane and stupid things, so the fact that anyone reads this and actually likes it makes me feel special, haha (you like me! You really, really like me!). Now I write for myself, but I write for my readers, too.

So anyway, this year has been really great for my little family in our little house. I’m blessed to have the best friends and family around (seriously), and for that, I’m grateful.
