So, Neal and I gathered up the cheese ball, deviled eggs and our air mattress, said goodbye to the kitties, and took our Vue to Andi and Shawn’s house Saturday for a holiday party with friends.
We both had an amazing time. A-maz-ing. We haven’t seen some of the friends that were there in a while, so it was so good to catch up. Shawn fried two turkeys, and they were sooooooo good.
I think Neal had about five helpings. He sat at a table in the garage by himself and downed his plate. It was hilarious.
Of course, whenever there is a keg, a game of beer pong quickly develops.
Andi and Shawn were getting a German shepherd puppy the day after the party. We brought some holiday dog toys, and our friend Jess gave them the cutest basket for all of Cole’s toys (they are naming the dog after Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels).
Andi couldn’t wait to load all of Cole’s stuff in his new fancy basket. You can see the stocking full of holiday stuff that Neal, Amanda and I bought them.
Andi had a relative make Cole a stocking to match hers and Shawn’s.
And basically, we all ate, drank and were very, very merry.
I took tons and tons of pictures. But to protect the innocent (or actually, not innocent), I only posted a few tame ones.
It was such a blast. Wish we could go to a party like that every weekend! Actually, I’m not sure I could handle it, HAHA.
Sunday, we went to my company Christmas party, which had amazing food. My bosses gave us a beautiful woven blanket with our last name on it. The rest of Sunday, I took a nice, long nap, HAHA.
Only a three-day work week, and then it’s Christmas! YAY!
