Yay for the Phillies! World Champions!

Neal’s the real fan, so I’ll just say that he’s super happy about the World Series champions.

Normally, he doesn’t say much when he watches his sports. If something good happens, he’ll clap once, or say “Oh shit!” (in a good way). He lies on the couch.

During the last inning of the World Series Game 5, he sat up on the couch. His leg shook and he bit his nails until they bled. He didn’t say much and kept his eyes glued to the TV.

And when they won, he just smiled. He smiled a huge, Neal-sized grin like only he can. He told tales of the heartbreak of the 1993 World Series and said “Finally.”

I’m happy the Phillies won, because it makes Neal happy.
