philliesssssss fever

So, I’m writing this while the end of the Phillies game is on. I’m having trouble watching it (nervous!!!), so I decided to blog about dinner.

I saw this recipe for Sweet Potato Biscuits that looked really easy, so I decided to make them to go along with my slow cooker pot roast. I love pot roast. It’s just about my favorite thing to make in the winter. It’s so nice to come home to a cooked meal at the end of a long work day! I just buy the roast, dissolve a beef bullion cube in a some water and pour it over the roast. Then I throw in some onions, carrots and potatoes or another veggie I have on hand and let it cook on low all day.

I come home to a wonderful smell and dinner all ready to go.

My mom used to make this all the time. It was my favorite.

The biscuits came out amazing! They were really easy to make and soooo delicious! Neal scarfed down about three or four, I think, haha.

Then, in order to further avoid watching the Phillies, I did what I love to do. Take pictures of my kitties.
