So, when Ferris and Simone were kittens, they cuddled with each other a lot. I mean, they slept right next to each other. They rarely slept without somehow touching.
That last picture always makes me “aawwwww.”
Anyway, when they were kittens, they also fought a lot, too. I mean all-out-wrestle-bite-and-kick-the-crap-out-of-each-other.
Here’s a good shot of Baby Simone trying to bite Ferris’s face off.
Anyway, they don’t sleep with other as much as they used to, and for awhile, they weren’t fighting as much either. And of course when I say fighting, I mean playing.
Anyway, lately, the play fights have been starting up again. Ferris has been chasing Simone all over the house. She acts really pissed and hisses at him, but yet she doesn’t run very far/fast, and seems to actually be the instigator.
Here’s a typical scenario. They are just hanging out, chilling near each other.
See, everyone seems OK, right? Relaxed. Cool.
Then, I have no idea how it starts, but something goes off in their little furry heads.
The stare-down starts, and the ears go back.
Mmmmm… uh oh.
Then, the biting, back kicks and smacking start.
Fighting ensues.
They crack me up.
