So, Neal spent some more time on our deck Sunday, caulking up around the house and generally cleaning up. I helped a little, but mostly I spent some time cleaning and getting ready to head to Jess’s to make our shirts for next weekend’s wiffleball tournament.
Before I left, we hung up the picture frames above the kitchen table that I bought at the dollar store.
I have stared at this blank wall for far too long, and it was time to fill it with something. What better than pictures! One frame has all cat pictures and the other has pics of Neal and I.
I’m really happy with how they look. They were cheap frames, but I don’t care. They work for now!
I also made my taco dip to take with me to Jess’s for us to munch on.
It’s so easy and so good. This is how you make it – Take one can of refried beans and mix in about a tablespoon of taco seasoning. Spread that into a 9-inch pan. Then layer in top in this order – salsa, sour cream, lettuce, cheese and then top with chopped tomatoes or olives (or both!). I usually try to do each layer a little smaller than the last, so then all layers are visible.
OK, so then it was off to Jess’s to make our shirts. Usually the teams at the wiffleball tournament are all guys, but we decided to crash the party and make an all-girl team. So, of course we had to pick a really girly name.
HAHAHA!! How girly can you get?!?! So we are entering the softball tournament as the Fluffy Kittens. We’ll probably lose our first game, but oh well. We’ll do it with a kick-ass name and a good time!
Oh, and we even named ourselves.
I’m Mrs. Real Deal, HAHA. The guys call Neal “The Real Deal” because…. ummmm… it rhymes and… well… if you knew Neal, it just makes sense. He is the real deal.
So, I’m really excited for the wiffleball tournament. I think it’s really going to be a blast. Just gotta get through this week of work. I have a school board meeting tomorrow. But I get to have dinner with Amanda Wednesday, because we need to get our Clinique bonuses at Bon-Ton, HAHA.
