See, she’s this massively huge Dave Matthews fan and she’s offended by my post about how “I don’t get it,” meaning, his hype.

Anyway, I tried to explain that I don’t dislike him, but she wasn’t hearing it and now she’s mad at me.

So I feel bad. See, I actually like my future sister-in-law or whatever I’m supposed to call her before September. So I feel bad that I offended her. I’m sorry, Amanda. To make it up to you, here’s wishing you a very Happy Fourth of July Birthday!! Enjoy your time in the Inner Harbor with my bro.

So last night was supposed to be eventful, but ended up not being so eventful. I got a call from an old-corker of mine that is a big fan of mixed martial arts. Ted has a blog about the sport, and he knows I’m a fan. He wanted to make a youtube video previewing the UFC86 event to be held Friday and asked me to be in it. I was excited and read up about the main event, Jackon vs. Griffin. But, as happens in the newspaper business, Ted was called out to an emergency and we ended up not getting together to make the video. Oh well. There’ll be more events!

After work today, Neal and I are heading over to my parents’ house to eat dinner and hang out. Friday, we’re heading to our friends’ housewarming party. I will post pics of the food I’m making, and of course, pics of the party — the ones that are decent
